Gary and G-ja Family Day at Bagan lalang!!

Ever since Gary and G-Jar "GG" planning for the arrival of their prince , i was sooo excited !!! First time someone close , and i mean like "close" to me is expecting a baby... hehehe I was like yeah !!! Finally can play and babysit him. So when baby Ariean Indra Putra " Ean" was born , i was ecstatic!!! From then one every time we meet up i surely nak hold and cuddle with him.. hahaa .. 

One find weekend, GG invited me and hubs for the weekend away, just saying that they booked a apartment and we just lepak tepi laut . Only a day before or a few hours before only we were informed that it was actually a family day/gathering of G-jar's family. Hahaha ... Truthfully malu gak nak join but since both GG said its ok, we just ikut jer la. At least i can babysit Ean while , GG have time for their family gathering .. hehehe .

Bagan Lalang from our house only takes about 45min-1hour drive. The moment i hop onto GG's car i quickly wanna hold baby Ean.. and He slept the whole way through.. hehehe . When we reached the apartment, GG needed to go down to the beach camp-site where the gathering was being held to set up a few stuff. So hubs and me volunteered to babysit Ean. But the moment GG went out to the beach side and left us alone with the baby, hubs went to sleep. Hahaha, so much for "US" taking care of the baby.. lolz, end up "Im" the one taking care, feeding and putting the baby to sleep. 

After babysitting baby E'an for a few hours , we joined the others later on in the evening. They were all setting up the barbeque pit and the grill stations. It took us all hard work to get the fire started . So, we were all excited when we got it going. Thanks to GG's friends/family that is a frequent camper, as they knew what to do and how to do it . While some was getting the fire started, me being a camera hogger. I went around to snap pictures of everyone here and there . The most tak malu thing was most of them, i dont even know and have never met . But alhamdulillah, GG's family and friends are all very friendly and made me and hubs felt at ease with everyone . 

What was on the menu u say ?? There were cockles, stingrays, prawns, chicken, sausages and even grilled corn. Since the getaway was sprung on me and hubs at the last minute we felt bad that we didn't bring anything. But thank god everyone was nice enough to share ...=).. Next time Hubs and me promise to bring our share of the food stuffs. But since we didn't bring anything, hubs volunteered to help in the preparations of the seafood's. 

Hehehe, too many chefs spoils the dish heheheh, so while hubs help G-Jar's sister with the prep of the seafood's . hehehe ,  G-Jar, Me and Gary busy helping on other preps and also disturbing baby E'an. 

While hubs and G-Jar's sister preping the seafood's  G-Jar's Friends and other family members started the fire and made sure to keep it going. But since ppl were getting hungry they grilled the cockles and corn first since it was the easiest and fastest to cook. 

 While cockles , corn and some other seafood are just started being grilled. I 'kidnapped' baby Ean and took some time enjoying the sea breeze and even took photos of US by the beach area. hahaa , um .. Being around baby Ean sometimes does make me wonder how me and hubs will be when we have kids of our own. hehehe , For now , because of financial matters , we can just pinjam baby Ean and keep on wondering until we have one of our own.. hehehe ..

While, we were buys taking loads of pictures. The others have started grilling the prawns, stingrays, chicken and potatoes.. SInce we came a bit later then others, while they all went to freshen up and taking baths. GG, me and hubs took over the grilling stations...=). By the time they came back we all devoured the food , hahah , because we were by the beach and i took loads of random pictures my battery ran low and that i didnt take any night pictures and of everyone devouring the food .. hahaa .. But honestly kudos to the chefs and marinator's ( GG friends and families)... the food was awesome delicious !!! The more hubs and me ate, we felt bad for not bringing anything, and we promise our selves next time we will make sure to bring some supplies and food stuff too..=).

After dinner , we all just laze around the fire and just hang out with GG's family and friends. And nearing 11plus i think , we all headed back to the apartment/hotel that GG booked for the night. Since , we went prepared for anything. We didnt know that everyone else was camping out for the night. That would be interesting though. But lolz, my husband being a "POLAR BEAR" hahaha , he cant stand the heat much, i dont think he will enjoy it much.. Lolz, We said our goodnights and retired to the hotel to sleep. The day had been awesome that it didnt take long for us to fall into a deep sleep..=).

The Next morning, GG woke up very early and met the family and friends at the beach. Since it was sooo hard for me and hubs to get a holiday, we kinda slept in a bit ... =). After breakfast, we drove to the beach side where they camped and they were all playing monopoly deal. But i was mainly distracted by the giant eagle kite that GG's brother in law bought.. It was cool... At the beach i even saw a pirate ship kite that was soo cool, especially the way it glided in the air !!!

G-Jar's dad was so cool, he spoilt the kids with bubble guns, mini kites and a whole load of toys ..=). 

Soon, it was afternoon and everyone started to packed. hehehe , it was such a fun and awesome weekend. That truthfully i didnt want it to end . But it being a weekend we had to work the next day , it was a bum to end it .. But hubs and me got to meet awesome friends and family of Gary and G-Jar...=). And the most that i liked was being able to hug, hold and kiss baby Ean all my heart desired ,, hehehe .. lolz.

MiniPutt and BubbaGump Meetup..@CittaMall

It always crease to amaze me how long we have been friends,a truly 1Malaysia friendship as we like to joke ... Anyway, with all our busy work or study schedules we still try to meet up at least once a month and we try to make it interesting by trying out new things to do . Truthfully this meetup actually happened in January 2013.. hahaha Sorry for the late updates ya'll been sooo busy with a new working environment ( a much happier one if i may add..=p). 

We'll when i heard there was a mini putt outlet in Citta Mall, which was near from where i worked . I told the gang and they were all interested and excited to try it out . So the exciting game began. All of us have NEVER played golf except for my hubby, so he was guiding and showing us how to play and putt the ball. Funny enough we were all fast learners and weren't  so far behind.. hahaha 

Anyways, if its ur first time here , the staff of the place will first demonstrate the way to hold and hit the ball and also how the points were counted. For each hit is counted as 1point, so the lesser point you collect the better chance of winning the game ..=). Easy peasy right ??

Hole No.1 : Easy straight shot, with two bumps.

Hole No.2 : Straight shot, Just have to find the right timing for the ball to pass or it will be blocked by the traffic-turn fan thingy ...=)  

Hole No.3 : Lolz, This was a bit harder, You have to hit it hard enough for it to go up the small slope and if u hit it hard enough you ball may come out from the first hole that leads straight to the putt hole which a higher chance of you getting a hole in one. If not your ball may just come out form the bottom hole which you may have to hit once or twice for it to go to the putt hole.

Hole No.4: This one has no obstacles except the course was in a "L" shape .  

Hole No.5 : The course look like a Cross "T" and you can choose to putt on whichever side putt that you wanted . Even though they had a 'Queens' and 'Kings' lane but i felt that both is the same.. =P

Hole No.6 : Its a Windmill shaped obstacle and on a correct timing hit the balls and it was go through two different holes which will either go straight back of the obstacle or it'll curve the ball and made it nearer to the hole to score!!

Hole No.7 : Easy enough hole just have to get the timing right as to not hit the spinning wheel..=)

Hole No.8 : This one EVERY one of us took a looonnnggg time here .. hahaha ... its just a straight putt but the damn cone was hard to overcome. All of us took minimum about 8-13 tries to finish this course.

Hole No.9 : straight and easy just be careful to get the timing of the turning flap at the bottom of the obstacle correct and its an easy hole in one!!

Hole No.10 : Hahaha again the slope gave some of us trouble but other then that it was fairly easy ..=)

Hole No.11 : Hahaha, this is funny yet easy . We all thought that the only way was thru the middle ramp which its kinda a sure way to putt the ball into the hole. But our random putting we then realize that there was two other holes/ways to get to the other side ..=)

Hole No.12 : Hahaha Straight shoot except that you have to go up a platform in order for the ball to putt.

Hole No.13 : Easy except the course was a "z" shaped lane... =P.

Hole No.14 : This is one of the coolest obstacle. You have to hit the ball hard enough for it to make a full turn at the loop. 

I cant remember was it Melissa or Amly was the one who hit the ball, that somehow it bounced off the loop and somehow came out the other side without going through the loop hahaha .

Hole No.15 : The lighthouse was just a prop. hahah .. you just have to hit the ball through the hole at the bottom of the lighthouse and it goes straight to the hole area..=)

Hole No.16 : Easy shot if u go the easy way of just going through the sides. But i guess all of us just wanna enjoy that we kept on trying to make our ball go up the tiny steep ramp in the middle of the course so that the ball would slide down straight to the hole. I think a few of us actually made it up the ramp and into the hole.

Hole No.17: This is is relatively hard for most of us .. haha .. the timing has to be right so that when u hit the ball, it goes into the pocket of the turning wheel. if not it'll get stuck in between the turning part and that just add on to more points. 

Hole No.18: This was the last hole. And they give u hope that if u hit ur ball and somehow miraculously it goes into that small tiny hole in the middle that you will get a free game. It aint easy and none of us got it, but kudos to the ones who did !! hehehe 

That was ALL of the 18 holes that they had to offer . It took us about 45-75min to finish the game . I guess it could finished faster but some of the course we took our own sweet time so that we could "strategies" ourselves .. If u know what i mean.. hahaha  . While we telly the score, we all just randomly took picture of the place and the waiting area.

The WINNER of the FREE game was ..... *drumroll please*..... Kamal@ Tito my Hubby .... Grrrsss, i was a bit bummed to find out that i was only 4 points of beating his score .. hahaha .. But truthfully i think ALL of did awesome despite it being our first times (except hubs). But All in all it was deffinitely an awesome outing !!! After the game we all went down to Bubba Gump outlet in Citta Mall and enjoyed dinner there . More on that in the next entry !!!=)
