MiniPutt and BubbaGump Meetup..@CittaMall

It always crease to amaze me how long we have been friends,a truly 1Malaysia friendship as we like to joke ... Anyway, with all our busy work or study schedules we still try to meet up at least once a month and we try to make it interesting by trying out new things to do . Truthfully this meetup actually happened in January 2013.. hahaha Sorry for the late updates ya'll been sooo busy with a new working environment ( a much happier one if i may add..=p). 

We'll when i heard there was a mini putt outlet in Citta Mall, which was near from where i worked . I told the gang and they were all interested and excited to try it out . So the exciting game began. All of us have NEVER played golf except for my hubby, so he was guiding and showing us how to play and putt the ball. Funny enough we were all fast learners and weren't  so far behind.. hahaha 

Anyways, if its ur first time here , the staff of the place will first demonstrate the way to hold and hit the ball and also how the points were counted. For each hit is counted as 1point, so the lesser point you collect the better chance of winning the game ..=). Easy peasy right ??

Hole No.1 : Easy straight shot, with two bumps.

Hole No.2 : Straight shot, Just have to find the right timing for the ball to pass or it will be blocked by the traffic-turn fan thingy ...=)  

Hole No.3 : Lolz, This was a bit harder, You have to hit it hard enough for it to go up the small slope and if u hit it hard enough you ball may come out from the first hole that leads straight to the putt hole which a higher chance of you getting a hole in one. If not your ball may just come out form the bottom hole which you may have to hit once or twice for it to go to the putt hole.

Hole No.4: This one has no obstacles except the course was in a "L" shape .  

Hole No.5 : The course look like a Cross "T" and you can choose to putt on whichever side putt that you wanted . Even though they had a 'Queens' and 'Kings' lane but i felt that both is the same.. =P

Hole No.6 : Its a Windmill shaped obstacle and on a correct timing hit the balls and it was go through two different holes which will either go straight back of the obstacle or it'll curve the ball and made it nearer to the hole to score!!

Hole No.7 : Easy enough hole just have to get the timing right as to not hit the spinning wheel..=)

Hole No.8 : This one EVERY one of us took a looonnnggg time here .. hahaha ... its just a straight putt but the damn cone was hard to overcome. All of us took minimum about 8-13 tries to finish this course.

Hole No.9 : straight and easy just be careful to get the timing of the turning flap at the bottom of the obstacle correct and its an easy hole in one!!

Hole No.10 : Hahaha again the slope gave some of us trouble but other then that it was fairly easy ..=)

Hole No.11 : Hahaha, this is funny yet easy . We all thought that the only way was thru the middle ramp which its kinda a sure way to putt the ball into the hole. But our random putting we then realize that there was two other holes/ways to get to the other side ..=)

Hole No.12 : Hahaha Straight shoot except that you have to go up a platform in order for the ball to putt.

Hole No.13 : Easy except the course was a "z" shaped lane... =P.

Hole No.14 : This is one of the coolest obstacle. You have to hit the ball hard enough for it to make a full turn at the loop. 

I cant remember was it Melissa or Amly was the one who hit the ball, that somehow it bounced off the loop and somehow came out the other side without going through the loop hahaha .

Hole No.15 : The lighthouse was just a prop. hahah .. you just have to hit the ball through the hole at the bottom of the lighthouse and it goes straight to the hole area..=)

Hole No.16 : Easy shot if u go the easy way of just going through the sides. But i guess all of us just wanna enjoy that we kept on trying to make our ball go up the tiny steep ramp in the middle of the course so that the ball would slide down straight to the hole. I think a few of us actually made it up the ramp and into the hole.

Hole No.17: This is is relatively hard for most of us .. haha .. the timing has to be right so that when u hit the ball, it goes into the pocket of the turning wheel. if not it'll get stuck in between the turning part and that just add on to more points. 

Hole No.18: This was the last hole. And they give u hope that if u hit ur ball and somehow miraculously it goes into that small tiny hole in the middle that you will get a free game. It aint easy and none of us got it, but kudos to the ones who did !! hehehe 

That was ALL of the 18 holes that they had to offer . It took us about 45-75min to finish the game . I guess it could finished faster but some of the course we took our own sweet time so that we could "strategies" ourselves .. If u know what i mean.. hahaha  . While we telly the score, we all just randomly took picture of the place and the waiting area.

I bet everyone is asking how much was it , Well the pricing is as below. But the best part is that they have weekdays promo, each day is different . This promo is only from 7pm-11pm.

Bring Along your student card, one round at Rm12
WEDNESDAY :  Ladies Night
Two Ladies play for only Rm18... Ladies only.. haha !!

Only Rm 25 Per Couple for one round of game.

EVERY WEEKDAY : LUNCH HOUR PROMO

12noon-3pm its only Rm10 per game.  

These are the pricing for the  timings which has no promotions ...=)... It was ok la ..
 And awesome alternative  activity  for kids and adult to give a try ...

PS: On any other day , If you come in a group of Four pax and above . The lowest score which in this game is the winner of the game gets a free game for the next time he/she comes to the MiniPutt . 

The WINNER of the FREE game was ..... *drumroll please*..... Kamal@ Tito my Hubby .... Grrrsss, i was a bit bummed to find out that i was only 4 points of beating his score .. hahaha .. But truthfully i think ALL of did awesome despite it being our first times (except hubs). But All in all it was deffinitely an awesome outing !!! After the game we all went down to Bubba Gump outlet in Citta Mall and enjoyed dinner there . More on that in the next entry !!!=)

Korean delight @Gangnam Station Shah Alam

We'll if you guys have read my previous blog entry, you would know by now that i am slowly getting korean crrrraazzzyyyy..... So, when my Sistere in law told me that there was a new korean restaurant opened nearby her old tuition centre, we just had to go try it out . So far the day went awesome .. hahaha ... We played a game of old school carom , went for about 4 hours of karaoke and then straight to dinner .

 Since BOTH my Sister-in-law (SIL)Nora Jane and I both are korean crazyy.. hahah .. My friend Wawa and her was the one who influence me in my journey into korean-ism. So, we were watching our korean shows/drama, we said there was a new korean restaurant that opened nearby their house so during our karaoke session it was already decided that there was where we will be having dinner . After the tiring 4hours (actually i could still go on ) ... We made our way to the gangnam station.

Upon reaching , we realize that it used to be a mexican restaurant before it was changed to a korean restaurant . The menu is very limited and the dishes are all sharing sizes and prices are what i would say quite steep . If you were to divide it to the amount of ppl who is sharing, its is actually quite affordable but for me the downside is that you cant try different types of dishes at one go. Since even the basic bibimbap was still unavailable (at the time that i went) , we choose the safest menu item bulgogi set. 

Bulgogi set was served with the following ,

a) Bulgogi set - a huge portion of beef,clear noodle ,mushroom and vege enough to share 3-4 people depending on appetite..=) (Rm60 perportion)

b) All meals are served with an all-you-can-eat side dishes which may vary from day to day but the staple kimchi is of course served. Thou if u asked me the kimchi was too mild ..

c) Rice has to be ordered separately and each bowl is charged . (Rm3 per bowl)

d) All drinks are priced um slightly expensive for my taste even plain water was charged at rm1 per glass.

The bowl of rice is expensive but i gotta say it did taste good..

Just look at the huge pile of beef, mushroom and jap chae.. Yummy yum yum!!

After we put the vege and waiting for it to start  cooking and boiling..

Basically we could pretty much say we were quite satisfied with the portion of the meal is just that if they could offer a choice to get a smaller portions at least we could have ordered and tried several items on the menu at a go ..=).. But other than that i would say the place is quite ok and the taste was not too bad .. But my choice would still be The Street Cafe ..So i guess thats my view on this new restaurant . A last comment , if they could make the place look and feel a bit more kerean would be awesome . Like mayb some decorations and nick-nacks that would make ppl be interested in korean culture more. Buzz Korea!!!
