~ Disco Rollerblading/Skating ~

Wow, seems like more and more awesome and fun activities that can be done these days . The recent craze is the roller-blading or skating with the disco theme.. 

And awesomely enough, one just open nearby where im staying here in Subang Jaya.If everyone is familiar with Subang jaya and im sure anyone would know or have heard of Subang Parade. Well further down you will see Carrefour Subang and beside it a new building called 'Subang Avenue'.

 Here the building is pretty much a ghost town building, new restaurants and merchants are slowly opening their businesses here, So far they have a Gym 'Body express', some restaurants, kopitiam and also some novelty shops open... but do come check the place out.. I think it will definitely be one of the up and coming places to be in a few months time..=).

Back to the activity, what supposed to be a fun outing with a few groups of friends.. turns out to be just a few friends.. Dont you just hate it, that friends keep asking you to plan something and when u finally plan something they all cancel with excuses or reasons..?/ Anyway, whatever.. There'll be next times.. =)... the main thing is, I did it and i feels awesome and it was fun.!!

The place is full of Laser beams, pop , oldies and hit music in the background, definitely a fun place to hang out with a bunch of friends or a place for you to teach your loved one if he/she doesn’t know how to skate..Even the skates are glow
 in the dark kind..=).. how awesome is that ??Another interesting factor that is kinda weird but kinda cute and cool toilet sign, where they have a few different style of ladies antics  in the toilet . Though some r kinda stupid and doesnt make sense . Hahaha, but its cute either ways..!=)


Out of all the friends that i invited , Amly , Stanley, Parames and Anand are the ones who came. Hehehe.. Although  its been years since the ladies rollerblade or skate, however, this was the first for the guys..!! But they were a good sport by trying out something new ..=).. They promise and swear that they would not do it ever again.. lolz.. However i think the girls will definitely come back and enjoy it again!!

The price for the activity is quite reasonable for about RM25 for the whole day and RM15 for 2 hours. And let me just say, 2hours was more than enough, although the place was fully air-conditioned .Everyone was sweating and had a good workout for the hours plus that we were there.Um, the rollers was a big heavy and hard since its still new, yet if u have ur own blades or skates. I wont actually recommend for u to bring your own, it would definitely be lighter and easily to use.=). Till the next awesome and fun activity..!!=)

~ Beauty Century ~

During the Beauty Fair that coincided with Matta Fair 2011, I had collected a lot. and i mean a lot of free gifts... Masks....Body treatments.... Skin care.... and Facials!!... Majority of it has a long expire date, but some expiry was near. During the fair, Beauty century gave me a fiber drink free and also a lip mask (never try it yet...=)). Anyways, that day they made a promotion of paying RM28 for a facial and gifts that would normally cost RM598* .



I didnt really care much except for the fact that i needed a facial badly!! heheh, its been a few years...*gasp* Yup.. A few yearrsss since my last facial. So , since its only Rm28 and a proper facial i decided to make a payment for it . Rather than paying about Rm60-90 for a basic facial elsewhere. However , the expire date for the coupon was 1month from the date of purchase. So since i made the purchase on 11 March 2011 its expire was on the 10 April 2011.


Which was why i decided to utilize it asap, i mean Rm28 is still money..  since i have to be on my most saving streak ever..!!(My Big day is just around the year)..=).. So i called them up, made an appointment to the nearest branch from my place which was Sunway outlet. They are situated above 7eleven beside Sunway Pyramid.

I was told to reach there before 6.30pm as the whole facial and process would take about 3 hours. I thought they were kidding, lolz... but luckily for me i reach there with time to spare. Rather then finding parking nearby, i did the most safest thing.. Parked inside of Pyramid, safer and parking was easy to get and not as expensive as valet parking..=)





After reaching there, i was told to fill up whatever basic necessary forms that we would have to fill up for any treatment or services. Then my skin was checked and 'scanned' by this skin machine that showed that my skin was dehydrated inside and oily on outside. And since my last facial was a few years back, my face was full of blackheads and whiteheads...=).. Well, thats the reason i needed facials anyways..!!=)

I was then taken to the treatment room, i was shocked to see there were two beds. I assume the room was for couple treatments or what nots.. lolx... i was shocked that after i changed (into this maxi-tube-dress-thingy) and was just about to lie down,this lady walked in (who was already in the tube dress thingy) came and laid down in the second bed. I mean, whenever i do any facial and anywhere, i would normally get the room all to myself. this was the first.... I didnt mind sharing, i was just shocked..*gulp*.. lolz..

Anyways, I assume when they told me it would take 3 hours that the facial was about 1hour and 30 mins would have been them trying to persuade me to sign any sort of packages with them and the facial was going to last 1hour plus only . Was i even more shocked that the actual facial literally took about 2hours and 30 mins..=)... i was scrubbed, steamed, cleaned, masked (3x), full extractions and not to forget even a relaxing head and shoulder massage. hehehe ... I was in dream land for that 2hours plus..=)

I have to admit. i really think whoever who bought the Promo Rm28 facial really got their money's worth and more...!! Awesome right ?? Not only did i get my 2hour 30 mins of facial, I was not badged about signing any packages as the girl who attended to me as new, So i shut her down pretty quickly with the ..."Thanks for everything and bye..!!" ... Which was why i forgot to ask for my free gifts of Collagen sheet mask, eye mask and a utility bag..Which i would go and pick it up today... Yeah!!!=)..

Aren't i lucky ?? Please try your level best NOT to hate me...=)... ♥ you !!

PS: The girl who did my facial was Ms.Vincy Chung .

( If you happen to try the place out do request for her. She was efficient, awesome, friendly and just plain marvelous!! She cleaned everything without leaving me all blotchy and red all over.. and very very Clean!!)

~ Bedrock Spa ~

As in my previous entry...=)... I got some awesome promotion and Free stuff from my trip to the Matta fair 2011 and the mini beauty fair that co-inside with the Matta Fair. One of it was a Bedrock spa, Its famously known from Japan which is popular by the name of "YUNOHANA" but in Malaysia its famously known as NIROYA or under the company La Paris skin solution sdn bhd.

I decided to go to the taipan USJ 9 outlet as it was the nearest outlet to me . Upon reaching there, all i had to do was fill up the standard form that inquire regarding if i had any health problem and etc. And you know how everytime we get a FREE treatment, they will try to push you to sign a package or whatever promotion that they have. Well, i told them straight forwardly that i just came to try the service, so i would not be interested in signing any package's or whatever...With that, i was impressed that they really didnt push me what so ever...=)

Well, after filling out the standard forms, i was lead to one of the rooms they had as was told to stripped everything and wear the standard uniformed treatment clothes (a pants and a kimono style top) and lay downwards in this wooden contraption that looks like an MRI machine thingy...=) . The bed-like contraption was filled with these white rocks that i was told produced the +ions that is good for out body and the black rocks helps to regulate the heat to our whole body while lying down in the thingy..=)

After lying down wards, i was left alone to enjoy the bedrocks that radiates positive Ion into my body while the heat creates a steam like sauna effect that made me sweat and i mean really really sweat.. hahaha .. i think my robe was drench when i removed it after the treatment. I was first informed that it was 30min facedown and 30mins faceup. However, i check my watch and notice that i was given extra timing.. lolz.. mayb cause i was a very 'Hugable' size that they decided that my fats needed more steaming. hahaha ... but i enjoyed it regardless... =) 

What supposed to be an hour free treatment turns out to be almost an hour and 20 mins of blissful, relaxing and therapeutics experience that  i wouldn't mind trying again as the price is not as bad. Unless u have ur own sauna or club membership elsewhere where the sauna usage is free, then go for that. But if u dont have one like me, this is a relaxing treatment where u can give ur body , mind and soul a time out. You get the room all to urself and its just peace and quiet with just the lobby music playing in the backgroup...=)..

They also have slimming, relaxing, and other treatments, facials and everything else. However, i think i would certainly come back and try the Bedrock treatment a few time , if im in the mood for relaxing. Or if they have any offers for facials, i might try their handwork. But for now, i think i like this Bedrock Spa thing..!! Um..Relaxing... ciao!!

~ FREE Heaven...!! ~

At the Matta Fair 2011 @PWTC this year besides the travel tour and packages, they also had a Nikon Fair and also a small beauty fair as well. There they displayed new brands, china brands as well as giving out free ,promotions or bargain deal for services and beauty products...=).. Awesome right ??

Before we stop at the beauty fairs... We lined up to get FREE turkish ice-cream... it was YUMMY!!! hehehe ... Not to forget that its FREE too... Makes it even more delicious...!!! hehehehe ... Lucky for us, we were always the first few to line up.. So it didnt take us a long time for it to be our turn..=)

For me , this was when the real fun begins. After finishing our services for Reliance Travel, we went exploring... Although we wanted to go check out the package and tour deals .. however, there were just too many people that we opted to checkout the nearby attractions. One of it was the "Lady beautiful Fair" which was being held at Mawar Room at PWTC. Before you enter the fair there will be these gorgeous ladies dressed up in gorgeous Costumes that passed out this brochure/pamphlet ...I absolutely luv their make up and costumes!!!

After getting the brochure , i noticed its full of free gifts, free services and free consultations. Well, for whoever who knows me i love anything that is FREE... hehehe .. So what else did i do..?? I went to as many booths that i could, fill up whatever form that was necessary and collected all and any services/free gifts that they were offering ,..=)..

Well, at one of the booths was a Make-up institution called AERY JO. They are an institution that teaches the art if Professional Make-Up. Well, anyways there were giving away FREE Body art or Nail art.. and i decided to get the body art.. Well, i insisted i wanted it to be on my face. Although the Artist was kinda shocked , cause i think nobody would want a face painting or just NEVER asked..=) . But i did... and they're good and very fast... In less than 10 mins they drew, painted and spinkled sparklers on my face...=)..; Check it out !!=)

Well, as anyone who knows me... I love bargain.. and Collecting Free stuff... But this was Free Heaven!!!.. hahaha ... i have started using 2 of the treatments... which i will blog about it soon enough...!!=)... hehehe ... Do check it out !!!

Working on Matta 2011

This Year Matta fair was held on the 10th,11th and 12th of March at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur. Wow, this year was just as packed as the years before as it's Malaysia biggest travel fair biggest bargains all under one roof.  And boy ooh boy... wow.. It was jam packed with people grabbing, pushing and shoving themselves to get the best bargains they could find.

What was i doing at the fair ?? Looking for packages ?? lolz... far from it .. I was there for work. A friend of mine got me a parttime job for her company doing makeup as i just finish my Pro-Make up course .A few of my friends and I was employed by Reliance Group to Make-up and Style their models for the convention. We were the for 3 days doing the make-ups and hair styling for about 10 models and 2 promoters. And boy it was a challenge in itself.

On the first day was a bit tough as we had to get the direction, costumes and even ideas on that day, so it took us a bit longer than necessary to get everything done. With 2 of the main office staff directing us on their vision and ideas. When we agreed to take on the job , i was told to do a simple makeup and simple hair ponytail and bun as they had a certain budget and agreed for that amout to do a simple styling . However upon reaching the venue, they suddenly came in asking and kinda demanded us to do other styles for the hair and keep on commenting on the make up (even when it was not ready yet ) that kinda took a bit longer as they keep on badgering and questioning our judgements.

Um, the second day was a bit better, as we knew what we gonna do anyway. But they came in next morning, with new ideas and suggestion saying they do not want the same styling... Like WTH right ... but we were cool.. we complied... When we agreed was for 9 models, on the first day 1 model was added... then on the 2nd day, they added 2 more "Promoters" for us to style. That was kinda pushing the envelope right . They deter from the first agreement in soooo many ways ...Agghhh!!!!

3rd day was ok, however the models came in with their own ideas and suggestions.. upon which we comply as the office staff fro the 1st day also kinda follow their suggestions. Its one thing that "Models" was kinda fussy and kept on altering all our make ups. As they were brow-less we darken it slighty, to make them look human with brow. But NOOOO... they had to go to the toilet and wipe it off. They wipe their lipsticks and blusher and whatever THEY felt was not their style or whatever... my god.. and guess what... The management blame us for not making their make up more darker and what nots.. that got on my nerves..


And a few models hair style was styled according to their preferences, their SUGGESTIONS... then the made a mess out of it, so we changed it... and they altered it again.. like WTF!!!!! And again... We just did our job , although we had to do it 2-3 times just for that 2 models... my god!!!!



Anyway, when it ended. We were pretty happy as it was a tiring and slightly stress ful day.. lolz.. We got out first payment even before the event . However, its been almost a month after the even we still have not gotten the second amount... I DO NOT IN ANY WAY BLAME MY FRIEND...=)... She's awesome but  the Reliance Company management and accounting department  has deepshit problem. Like WTH... why cant they settle all payments before doing what-so-ever renovation they are doing on the accounting department. And like it takes them a month to make payment?? Um... whatever la... still being patient, awaiting 2nd payment . But i just had to vent out my anger to the company ... hehehe but i still love my friend..!!

Hoping to get the payment latest by next month, as I have a lot of payment to do. Especially i have ordered some things for the big day ...=)...Hoping and awaiting... If not will serious call whoever that is in-charge and give them a piece of my bitchy angry mind..!!!!!
