Tito's Chicken Rice Special...

Recently my mom has been craving for chicken rice... Althouggh here in Malaysia, almost everywhere theres a chicken rice shop or a place that sells them. However, my mom has been hearing soo much about Tito's Chicken rice special... hahahah ... Btw, My fiance's name is Kamal Zulkarnaen but ppl who r close to him, friends and families all knows him as TITO. Hhahaa ... dont ask how he got that name, but it stick with him ever since he was a kid...=)

Well, since my mum was not feeling well.. We decided to make Tito's Chicken rice special just for her... Do you wanna know whats sooo special about Tito's chicken rice..?? hahaha , Its special cause never 2 are the same.. everytime he makes it the outcome will be different... the taste will be diffrenet too.. but EVERYTIME.. its yummilicous... doesnt matter what he put in it.. it taste awesome..!!!!=)

So far, he has cook chicken rice for me quite a few times... and i absolutely love it..!! I joked around with him
saying when we marry he will be the designated cook and ill be the designated shopper ... haha .. a fair trade right ..?? Lolz.. soon we'll see. So far i have tried his various style of steam and fried chicken. However, he has never made roasted chicken. So, I decided to make roasted chicken and potato for him.. Something different for him to try.. its easy and very Yummilicious..!!!

I was told that my aunt from Singapore was coming down with her youngest son Faisal. So , normally for about 5-6 ppl, we would cook about 4 cups of rice... I dunno why, i had this gut feeling it wouldnt be enough... I mean.. my Baby can cook.. and everyone would surely be having second helping... well, after much deliberation.. haha , we decided to cook about 7 cups of rice..That was a lot..!!

But Lucky for us that we did... hahaha  , cause my Amati Yot turned up NOT with Faisal, but with her husband and eldest son Fauzi.... I was happy so see them, since its been a few years since we last saw them..=).. But it was lucky as there was more then enough food to satisfy  8 adults and left extras,.. hahaha .. Alhamdulillah, The food was amazing and everyone was lazing around . The adults watching tv and catching up downstairs, while the younger generation (Fauzi, Tito ,Dani and me) was in Dani's room watching some re-runs of some tv show/sitcom. However, as i was soo tired.. I sleep most of the re-runs in my fiance's arms.. hehe .. so warm and awesome feeling...

In the evening, Tito said his goodbyes and left to go home . My brother and I decided to bring them to I-city to see the lights and enjoy a night out. I have visited it a few times before.. However, it has much improved , new attractions and more shops r open for business. And further more they now r charging Rm10 per car per entry... Um, now everything they charge.. Some of the new attractions or places i remember was, SnowWorld, Laser Tag, Al-Rawsha (arab restaurant from jln.Ampang ,KL), KFC and many more.... But since it was a Saturday and a school Holiday...There were a lot of people around... And soon we were leaving to go home... We were only there about 45 to 1 hour 15  mins.

Note to self : NEVER go to I-CITY on Weekends , PH or School Holidays..!!Well, we had a short but amazing 2 nights with Amati Yot, Ami Lan and Fauzi... Cant wait to go down to Singapore to visit them. Mayb even spend a day at Universal Studios..=).. Muahss... <3<3 them all.. Till next time.. Adios..!!

The big 30..!!!!

My awesome fiance has turned a decade older... hehehe he hates me repeating the big number. He wants to keep holding on to the 20's... hahaha ... even proclaimed he's 29.5 still hahaha ... lolz... too bad baby you are 30 my OT (not over-time but 'Orang Tua ')..hahaha..

Well since its not everyday my fiance turn 30, we had a jam-packed schedule, affordable but filled with FUN weekend..=). And i also finally met his non-related cousin from US Zainab, been hearing so much of her happy to finally meet her.. and boy, did we had fun this weekend.. hahaha ..

Firstly, we went archery . I had a coupon i got online , and what better way o enjoy then with my fiance, soon-to -be sister in law and his cousin..=)... but we did enjoy our time..!! Since it was kinda the first time for all of them.. it was funny looking at them taking aim with their shaky hands and shoot, yet missed the target completely.. hahaha ... But all in all.. out of 25 arrows.. they hit about 10 at the targets and the others was either on the wall or on the ground.. hahahhaa ... Hilarious.. but fun..!!!

After spending about 30-45 mins at the archery, we demanded a break and what better way to do it with a large glass of rootbeer float... um..... with double scoop ice-cream... that accompanied with more laughters, stories and funny picture moments... hahaha .. Then shopping we went , for the adventure next day..=)

The next day... We embark on a day trip to Sungkai, Perak. I have previously come and enjoy the hot springs and mountain springs here .. and this time was even more memorable as i had my beloved and awesome fiancé with me and his sister..  We truly enjoyed our time here,.. that we didnt really took that much pictures.. hahaha ...

The moment we arrived, we first had to choose with one to try put first.. Since i loved both...!! I gave it to them to choose, and since it was a Hot day.. we dived into the mountain Spring first...!! And it was, COLD....*Shivers*.. hahaha .. but sooo cooling and relaxing...=)... We were even "massaged" by the rushing water that falls from the stone walls...=).. and we even slide down the huge slide that was for the public use..!!... and boy did we made a splash at the end.. hahaha ...

One of the other best features and attraction in Sungkai is that  if u are on a budget and want something hot and delicious to eat when you're there. Bring along a carton or crate of eggs of your choice, a loaf of bread (of whatver bread of your choice), and mayo... hehehe ... I know what ur thinking... raw eggs ..?? NOOOO... hehehe ... they have a place for the people to boil the eggs using one of the hottest spots in the facility to boil your eggs... imagine boilding ur egss in open air and in a hot spring that is about 92-112'Celcius... hahaha Now like paris always says... "Thats HOT..!!".. hahaha

But what i LOVE best was when i surprised him with his favourite Red Velvet... and a 'picnic' packed lunch... hahaha ... I made my fried spagetti and made fresh egg mayo with the  eggs that we boiled at the attraction/facilities at the Sungkai Residence Park..... It was awesome... eating freshly made and still piping hot egg mayo... with soft butter milk buns...=).. hehehe ... It was Yummilicous..!!!!!!!!

After Lunch.. we decided to try the hot springs.... hehehe.. me and nora absolutely love this,,, at the heat relaxes all our muscle aches... and just gives you that warm fuzzy feeling... and a little more heat if you know just the right place to sit and enjoy it... hahaha .. We spent all in all about 4-5 hours there.. and slowly head home after... We were soo tired by the end of it ... but It will be one of the most unforgettable day ever...  Wished Zainab's grandma allowed her to join...=).. well, Next time Zainab... hehehe if we have the time we'll bring u there before u leave .. or the next time u come here...!! since u did kinda promised to come in November... hahaha .. Muahss... Luv all of you guys..!!! heheh .. More adventures and stories to share..!!

Budget breakdown:
1) Gas/Petrol = Rm50
2) Toll(2way) = Rm 35 (more or less)
3) Entrance = Rm10 x 3 (Adults ) = Rm 30   {for kids its Rm 7 or 8 .. cant remeber }
4) Groceries + cakes = Rm 60
Total for Outing ??  Rm 175 ....

Imagine even if the other 3 ppl, did join us (they had appointemnts that cant be cancelled)... It will still only be Rm 205.. for like 6 ppl... hahaha ... Birthday / anniversary / or getaway on a budget..?? hehe ... this will definitely be one of my suggestions..!!

But the memories and shared moments are priceless ..!! heheh .. awesome..

NS..then..now.. and more to come..!!

I was lucky and fortunate to be able to participate in our country's National Service program wayyy back when it first started. Funnily enough, i was actually not chosen for the program. Everyone around me was either mopping around unhappy at being chosen or ecstatic to go or was just passively going with the flow.. For those who was not chosen, we happy that they escape the unfortunate program of misery.. hahaha ... And for some who did got in were finding ways to avoid going such as faking a health certificate, asking parents to send them overseas.. and even purposely write to the kementerian and begged to be taken out of the program.

But for me... I purposely wrote in to the government and asked them to allow me to participate in the program.. As weeks gone by and my friends who were in the first batch up and left for camp, i came to realize that mayb i didnt get in after all. So, i applied for work and got a part-time work in TGIF, on my 2nd day of work i got a letter from the government asking me to get packing and ready to report for the program in 7 days.. so literally i work at TGIF for exactly 10 days then i left for my National Service training.

I would never have thought or guessed that i was such a "CITY" girl.. i always thought of myself as the a bit rowdy  sporty girl and was a bit of a challenger.. but going there, i realize i was a CITY girl and its all funny and amusing stories that happen there...Those are to be told and shared with friends and families.. haha ... or mayb it'll be good for one of my entries one day.. hahaha...

But what i am happy is.. Even those we all met for the first time in 2004 in Setiu, Terengganu. i am happy to announce that i am still in contact with some of them. Some by email, Facebook and some are as close to me as bestie's. Everyone is busy and a few have settled down with families of their own. But the main thing is we all do keep in touch ... And with some of them, i had made beautiful memories.. and these are some of them...=)

These were taken during my time in Setiu... Wish i had taken more pictures... It was a very good experience and learning experience as well.. As I learn to appreciate what i have.. and conquered some of my fears...And i made a lot of friends.. that i would cherished those friendships always ..!!

One of the first meetup's we had..=)... Boy, did we had fun bowling and having lunch at tony romas's... We had soo much fun that we didnt really take that much pictures..=) hahaha ... I was glad to know even after years since we all alst met, we were close and still are..!!=)

We went to try our hands at Skytrex Adventure at Bukit Charakah in Shah Alam. Lolz...We were there early even before the place was opened.. And it was funny how we were running around looking for the shuttle that would take us to the skytrex site.. hahaa ..We were pumped to try this activity cause we thought since we survived NS we could do it with no problem.. Well.. it was tough, enjoyable and left my body aching for the entire weekend.. hahaha .. I had my battle wounds to showoff.. haha

One of the most recent outing was us trying our hands at archery-ing... Lolz , it was funny, fun and awesome experience... hahaha .., lolz... more activities to try together... hahaha

A few of Us even went for a holiday before... We went to Tioman for 3days 2 night in 2009.. It was all last minute planned... and luckily enough it went well.. The place is beautiful anf i enjoyed myself..

A year plus ago, some of us even went for a weekend away to Penang... it was crazy and all.. but i had fun... With the sightseeing, foods... and the sceneries... it was a great experience...

All in all... I appreciate all the wonderful activities that we have done.. and more to come soon. i hope we will never loose contact.. For those who have distant themselves... Or i have distant myself from them.. Well, its better to lead life they with less drama...=).

Xoxox, Luv all of you!!
and the wonderful memories we have will continue to have !!
