For those who have seen the movie, Forrest started a shrimping business... dealing what else...SHRIMP!! Real life imitating the movies. But an awesome idea it is..!! For those who hasnt seen the movie.. Dont forget to check them out..!!


The first time i walk in to this magical place funnily enough during the first 2 days of the opening... My bff Amly ,Melissa and I  , would always have a meetup every once a month at least and the moment we
saw that the place was opened we decided to eat there.. Awesomely enough that since its their opening that they were giving out FREE food  to train the staff as well as give the new customer a taste of their mouth watering menu...

You know what i did.. I thought since it was an awesome free promotion, being a person who loves to share great promotions with ppl who are dear to me.. I called my friend Intan@Jenna , i even booked a table for her and her sibling to enjoy the promotion. They came late, even after the door closed, they could still come in and enjoy the awesome promotion..*winks*

And there we were 2 tables away.. enjoying the awesome free food ... hehehe Every table got different menu and food selection. Since it was free, we could not choose what we wanted. But either ways , everything was scrumptious,
delicious and yummilicous..!! HAhaha , Well, since both table got different things, we did the most awesome thing ever, We exchange food among the tables so that everyone gotten a chance to try the different awesome food that they were serving... the highlights for the were the desserts...!!! ME fell in love with their desserts..=) . Anyway, that first opening really got me and my friends returning for more awesome food..!!

Its easy to say, that wasnt the first or last time i enjoy the awesome scrumptious food, atmosphere and cool ambiance and staffs. I was back again and again ... hahaha ... Embarrassing as it may seem, i was there for soooo many times that even the staff remembered me.. hahaha ... But its cool, it just makes u feel even more welcomed..!!=)

Basically, Bubba Gump is one of my favourite places to go and enjoy western delights. However, hehehe, we cant indulge in it that often as it could break the bank.. well, my bank will break anyways.. hehehe ... But personally i absolutely love this pace a.. Especially Sunway pyramid.. as the service is awesome so are the ppl there ... =)... There are a lot more pictures however.. hahaha .. has to be kept to myself only .. hehehe ... lolz... The meeting of the boyfriends

My friends and I have always been breathing and living the  1Malaysia concept even before our PM made it up . Back in secondary school during secondary 3,4,& 5 we were the 1Malaysia gang. Amly representing the Chinese, Melissa representing the indian community ,and me for the Malays.

The best thing with our group is ,we're besties but we all have our separate lives. We meetup once every few months, gone for holidays , hanging out and even kept in touch with the same classmates. How awesome is that?? Loz... I love our times hangging out with Mohd Azfar , Faroukh and Arwin , and  maybe Faisal (however he is most of the time MIA or to busy to hang with us =p). And also Mel's brother Stephen.... =)...

Well if my counting is correct i think all Of us have been friends for more or less 10 years. That's amazing on it's own. Even if we don't really meet each other that often we however still communicate through facebook, YM and even MSN. And what I love about them is that we all are sooo different yet we compliment each other..!!=)

Funnily enough all of us have boyfriends and met around the same time.. and im proud to say all of us  are still with our respected partners. All our relationships have exceed the 4 year bench and some close to six years....=)... But funny enough only recently we got to meet the boyfriends....=)

Mel's 2009 Bday 

1 year plus ago, Am and I got to meet Mel's boyfriend Steven and they finally got to meet Tito (my Boyfriend@Fiance) when we all went for a holiday to langkawi...=)... It was our first holiday together and boy did we had fun...!!!=)... It was awesome.. we lazed around and enjoy each others company..=) ... Chocolate shopping and not to forget sight seeing... among other 'fun' things that we all did....!! On that occasion only My boyfriend Kamal@Tito and Steven could make it, as Stanley Am's boyfriend was busy with work. But it was still an awesome holiday... !! Cant wait for our next one..!!

We tend to joke around and disturb Am , on how we never got to meet the mysterious Stanley. The only way we knew of his existence was the occasional calls he made to Amly during our outings...=) . However, im proud to say, recently and finally we got to meet Stanley..!!! However, as long as our bestie Amly is happy.. Thats all we want...!! =)

Hahahaha.... I met Stanley during one of our monthly meetup's.. This time it was an activity at Plaster Fun House at EMpire Gallery, Where we choose our preferred plaster and colour and paint it . hehehe , i was nervous as it was the first time Tito meet Stanley and also first time me meeting Stan too.. hehehe ... But i was happy everything turned out well.. hahaha ... the guys bonded over the fact that they were wearing the exact brand and type of shoes even in the same colours.. heheheh .. lolz.. Awesome..!!

Since Mel was busy with her studies or work, she couldnt join us for the fun. The next activity we did was mencanting batik. heheh, it was very um.. different but fun. People may think its boring, it take your concentration to a very calm level... hehehe .. You can take your time doing it and release your creativity on this piece of cotton fabric.. hehehe ... but cool..!!!=) .. Im definitely going again..!!=)

And now after being friends for more than 11 years, hehehe im happy to say that we are all in the happiest times with the person we all love the most. And im proud to say after 11 years, we are still close friends and i hope we will continue for years and years and yearssss... to come..!!! And we also share our other halves with each other... hehehe ... Till our next holiday (with Stanley this time ..*winks*) ..=).. hehehe ... Independent Professional Korean NewYorker (IPKN)

I am blessed and honoured to be working under 3 awesome bosses . It was thanks to one of my awesome Bestie's Amly Tan.. hehehe . After i resigned from my previous company, i was scouring places for jobs, and Amly's then co-worker knows of this one cosmetic company looking for Beauty Advisors to take care of their booths in Parkson. Since i was previously working for a Cosmetic & Beauty company, i decided to give it a try.

Funnily enough, my trial and interview was for a 3 day event/roadshow in Dataran Merdeka. As they have acquire a booth for the1Malaysia Carnival . For the 3 Days that we were there..We slowly got to know each other, we talked, joked around and Bonded..!! We all had a lot of fun, we enjoyed each others company and just had fun under the sun..!! Check out some of the pictures...!!=)...We were soo buys that we only got pictures on the 1st and 2nd day..!!=)

Truthfully i have never heard of this brand before i entered the company. I was even being franked and upfront with them..=), if i didnt enjoy or i dont believe in the product i would not like to represent the Brand in anyway. But with my awesome and wonderful bosses Michelle and Charlie, they took their time to explain the product and slowly introduce me to the wonders of IPKN... And now i am hooked on IPKN products..!!And with their enthusiasm  , their dedication, support and vibe. I felt sooo comfortable with them that i accepted the job as a Beauty Advisor for their counter which was located in Parkson 1Utama.

I was quickly hooked to the brand and the products , how could u not. Its water gel base , fast absorb, affordable and most importantly it works. Its not always you find and use products but after usage upon usage , you find it doesn't work for your skin? Well, not in this case... IPKN helps to maintain ur youth, enhance the beauty within and help your skin to be the best they could be . Along the way i made awesome friends here in Parkson 1U..!!

I love love love..LOVE using IPKN products, there are a few that i absolutely must have, such as their,   

        

 1) MyFirst Pact (compact powder) - The difference between this compact and other brands are that it doesnt only cover ur face such a powder does it somehow makes ur skin smoother and baby soft skin Without the use of any foundation whats so ever,,=)

2) My Baby Doll BB cream - Have ya heard of BBcream?? It the evolutionary all in one cosmetic must, its a concealor, sunblock and also a very light tinted moisturiser. And rather then some foundation and even some brands of BBcream out there. this particular one does leave that sticky,thick and oily mess that woman have to endure during any outing. This brand just gives u a natural second barely there skin feeling. But true to its name, it gives you that baby doll smooth porcelain skin. LOVE THIS!!!!

3) Ac-Vita Treatment Spot - For those who has sensitive skin, it is extremely hard to get skincare that really helps. However, the AC-VITA range absolutely is the best!!!! My brother who has very had acne/pimple problem, after using this for about 2 weeks, has seen proven results that it does reduce blemishes, help to heal irritation skin and even helps with smoothing scars. And with everyday usage keep the pimples and irritation at bay, Giving you the healthy, problem FREE skin that you have always wanted..=). 

There are a lot more products that i love from IPKN. heheh to list down everything will be a bore for you as the list will go on and on and on and on.. hahha .. Furthermore , i am more of a picture person. I think visuals helps people to enjoy and take notice of my entries in my blog. What you think ?? hehehe.

Oh back to IPKN, they have open and maintained the counter for roughly almost 2 years, before they close and decided to cut the lost. We had an awesome brand and even more awesome products. However, to compete with the Big brands such as Estee Launder, Christian Dior, Lancome, SK2, Laniege and other well known companies was tough. The company gave all the staff , staff purchase and special promotion  to help to clear the stocks that we had. With that i kept some stocks for myself that could sustain me for the next year plus.

 I dont know why i never share this awesome product before. Um, mayb if i share it sooner, mayb it would have helped...=). But however, i will still remain one of the most devoted and loyal staff with this awesome company but with their different product range..=). More on that , in my next entry..=).. hehehe , Stay tune and do check out my blogs often enough to find out what i have been up too =). .. Till next time..!!

Past, present.. and hopefully the future!!

Everyone who knows me would know the story and history of my ex (Aiman) and also my Fiance (Tito)and me . One thing with me is , when i make friends or even more then friends.. i tend to keep them as friends always and  if possible Forever. Unless under some circumstances the friendship is cut short..=)

Lets start with the story of Aiman and me . Aiman and me met in form four, we disturbed each other for about 8 months until we were so called "together".. Then about 1 month plus later, he broke my heart,.. and he continuously broke my heart .. Until i made myself a promise.... that I would NEVER let him hurt me again.!!!!! =)... Now he is one of my BBF.. "Best (boy) Friend". People think its weird, but really.. Its not that weird.. It's cool...=)..

To make an awesome story... I prayed to god asking HIM to send me , my absolute dream guy . I even listed down what i wanted... And alhamdulillah about 1 month later GOD intervene , and brought me MY DREAM GUY (MDG). This amazing guy was Kamal Zulkarnaen @Tito. And i could say it was love at first sight.. We met and literally 10 days after that we were a couple and Im proud to say we have been together for 6 years and in counting... How awesome is that ??

Well, long story short. Aiman and Tito have on few occasions tried to meet each other. However, it was never meant to be, everytime one is there, the other will be busy with work, or time schedule conflict or just have other plans. Mother nature or something out there, doesnt seem to want them to meet...

But, after me being friends and best friends with Aiman for  about 9 years and me with Tito for 6 years... Finally... finally, they met..!!!! yeah... Funnily enough it wasnt planned... hahaha , Tito and I decided to have a date with meatballs on one of the weekdays... And hohoho... I was shocked when a guy out of know where was trying to chat up with me... with a cup of carbonatic drink, i swore i was gonna throw it in the guys face . Until i realize it was Aiman and his Gf Amy. Lolz, like all my other friends most for their partners i have only got to see a glimpse of them from social medium such as Facebook, Flikr, Youtube or even Blogs...

So, i kinda new Amy but was first time meeting her too.. Basically it was the first for all of us to meet each others partners...=). At first we were all kinda weary that it would be uncomfortable, but hehe im happy to say we all hit it off quite well..!! We talked non stop from about 7 plus till we left bout 10 plus.. We had to stop cause Ikea was cleaning up to close for the day... hehehe ... The guys even joked if they were at a mamak stall, they could talk over night .

We enjoyed our meatballs, fish and chips and also baked salmon.. and most importantly great conversations and bond....=)... im happy to say this ... The past remains the past... The present is awesome... and the future will be even more of an ultimate adventure that last forever..!!=)...  Only time will tell what is instore for us all..=).. For now its going well..!!Till we all meet again...!!! =)... xoxoxo, Mie.!!!

So Colourful....

With all the modern technology nowadays, its nice to just go back to the basic. With all the new craze such as laser tag , karaoke and movies ... Its sometimes nice to go back to the basic.

I still remember those days back in primary and secondary school where almost everywhere i looked, friends were all playing 'Batu seremban' , bottle caps , hop-scotch ('ting-ting'), spinning top ('gasing') and even Marble toss ('Guli').  hahaha .. i remember in primary school, i begged my parents to buy me a kite... hahhaa ... mayb for the first 3-4 months, i was sooo crazy about it.. After that, i kinda got boring, and the kite was kept in the storeroom collecting dust and soon it crumbled with the weight of the dust.... lolz

For me personally, the only time i see this activity is through tourism advertisement that keeps running on the tv promoting to visit Malaysia. It always captured my attention, but i didnt know such place existed to do such a thing. Until oneday, i went surveying for halls for my big day. I basically tried finding out all the buildings in Subang Jaya, Sunway and even Kelana Jaya. Some caught my eyes, were either too grand and expensive or too small and kinda unappealing.=)

When i walked into this building in Sunway, i was shocked to know that its a Community Hall. Which has a daycare centre, tuition for primary kids, music room, dancing room, library, camping ground... and the list goes on..!! It was aweosome. But for me i was more interested in the activities they had, such as jewellery making class for Rm10, cooking classes/demo Rm10, and etc. But what caught my attention the most was the MENCANTING BATIK...

Like i said all these time, i've only seen it on the television, besides wearing them of course. I was fascinated with how it was drawn on to fabric. Well, i finally got my chance to try it last weekend. I went with one of bestie Amly and her boyfriend Stanley. It was the first for all of us, so we were really excited..!!

We started out my drawing our patterns and design onto the plain cotton canvas En.Ishak gave us . I decided to trace a picture of a butterfly that i saw on a display sample. Amly decided to just go free hand drawing and Stanley showed his love and devotion to Great Eastern.. lolz, (since he didnt know to draw , he flipped through his wallet and found anything with a logo..=p)

After we finished drawing with pencils, we were then showed how to outline the pencil drawing with hot wax.. And i really do mean Hot..Hot..Hot..!! That was the interesting part but kinda boring part.. haha ... next time i would try my level best to not take or do any intricate designs as to outline small shapes are hard.

After that colouring time... this was the most awesome part of the whole experience, looking and learning how the same colour can produce shapes and blending 2 opposite colours... Wow, it was magic,, hahaha ... I think out of all three, Amly produce a more Batik design and colouring technic... Good Job Amly!!!

All in all.. it was an awesome weekend activity, if we came in the morning, we could've taken our own sweet time. but since we started late, we kinda had to rush to finish out 'batik' as the guy in charge En.Ishak wanted to close shop before 6pm. But this will be something im definitely doing again..Since its only Rm20 per person... hahah , !!! Till, Next time...!! Adios... Xoxoxo, Me!!
