Second cousin to tie the knot...

Where are we going you wonder ?? We'll, truth be told on my dad's side of the family, I am the eldest cousin and was the first to get married . Lolz, and that was literally more than 1 year ago .... Jeng, jeng jeng ... Suddenly out of no where , hahaha , our cousin from Singapore contacted us thru facebook and invited us down to celebrate the good news that we will be welcoming a new cousin to the family . The event was actually in December ..!!=)

We were soo shock and it was confirmed at the last minute .Since hubs had to work a bit late and cant take leave,we werent able to go for a long trip So rather then not go, we did the most crrraazzzyyy thing.. hahaha , we went for a day trip to Singapore. we left Subang Jaya roughly about 5.30am and arrived the Custom's at about 9am. Lolz... Safe to say we were late for the main ceremony because of the extra looonnggg que at the Customs and the freeway between Malaysia and Singapore immigrations .

Roughly about 10.30am we finally exited the Singapore customs and since we were already late we just splurged for a cab and got to the venue just in time for the newly-weds to be presented on their thrones for the day. So, let me properly introduced you guys the beautiful bride and groom ,
Please congratulate
Daniel Lickes and
Ameera Binti Ahmad Jailani!!!

I guess we could say we arrived just at the right time , although we missed the main event we were happy enough to get to spent some quality time with the cousins, aunts and uncles before leaving back to Kuala Lumpur about 11pm that same night. Even thought it was for a short period of time, but it was soo precious as we dont get this moments of family much for me , my brother and hubs as we're all the way in Malaysia while everyone is there in Singapore. But it made the trip worth while and also made us cherished the family bond that we have .

All the cousins have all grown up and who knows who will be the next person to get hitched... Lolz, hopefully that would be the only times we see the singapore families. Since i am the eldest cousin, it always feels awkward around the cousins as they are all much younger than me . But now that they are all grown ups, the feeling of bonding and friendships among cousins are stronger than what it used to be .. hahaha...
All the cousins together... There's still quite a few missing but  I absolutely LOVE this picture!!
The parents  ,the aunts and uncles from the Bride side !!!
The awesome and delicious door gifts, candy packs for the kids and personalised sticky candies for the the adults . Not to forget the customed Bunga telur and even a goody bad for the adults ... heheheh ... Even the adults were excited with the door gifts ...=)

ABSOLUTELY LOVING THE FLOWER DECORATIONS THAT WAS EVERYWHERE ON THAT DAY ...!! THEY EVEN RE-USED THE FLOWERS FOR THE NIGHT GARDEN PARTY!!
Truthfully we were planning on leaving in the late noon/evening. Suddenly we were informed and kinda invited to stay for the night garden party that was planned by the bride friends. It was sooo cool and magical.. lolz.. Although it was simple , it was what any girl would want and would be sooo grateful if their friends were to planned something like that for her . My phone battery was running low.. so i dont really have any pictures during the late evening and night .All i have are this moments before the magical night happened. I'll update with more pictures if i could find any of me and any nice ones.. lolz..

Loving the ballons and handmade lanterns adorning the walkway to the BBQ/garden party area
This still had daylight .. by the time the sun goes down... it was a magical event !!!
Some of the guest who were rather early or rather late . Depending on how you see it .. hahaha
Althought it was the most hectic and rushed and tiring weekend , however , Dani, Myself and Hubs are proud that we actually went and at least showed our support and welcoming the new cousins. Hopefully, we dont only see the cousins and families only during big events . We hope the cousins would come down for a visit and our house is always open to you guys ...!!
We wished BOTH of you all the best and may god
bless you guys always and forever !!!!
Much love from us Subang Jaya (KL) cousins !!!

Suki-ya @Paradigm Mall.

I have tried steamboat and i have tried BBQ steamboat. However, Amly has tried this place a few times but this is the first time for me, hubs and my bestie Melissa tried Sukiyaki. Apparently Suki-ya  is a combination of specialized shops in Japan, that serves hot pot, shabu-shabu and sukiyaki which are all actually pretty similar to each other .

"At Suki-Ya, we offer 4 choices of popular soup bases to further entice the diner's pallete with the FREE FLOW of freshly sliced meat. Fans of sukiyaki will certainly love our paper thin sliced beef. To complement the rich selection of meat, our healthy vegetable bar is always stocked with fresh greens and premium pasteurised eggs. We have specially made dipping sauce available or you can always create your own favourite sauce. We also have an a-la carte menu with choices ranging from tofu to the ever popular salmon sashimi."
- taken from their official website -

From what i understand Shabu-shabu is when thinly sliced meat are swirled around in the hot chosen borth and within a few seconds it will be cooked. The additional part of this Sukiyaki is that the moment the meat is cooked its also dipped in a small bowl of beaten raw egg. The moment i heard this , i thought how icky and weird it'll be . But when i saw how my Bestie Amly and Hubs devour the meat i decided to give it a try . Safe to say it does taste awesome!!!

Btw these are apparently steps on how to enjoy these delicious meal!!
Step 1: Fill 1/2 of the pot with a stock of your choice ( There was 4 types although i cant
remember what is it.=)). But they would recommed their Suki-Ya stock.
Step 2: Add leek and Onion or other vegetables, tofu or even the variety of seafood balls
that they have at the display buffet table .
Step 3: Dip sliced meat into Sukiyaki stock. Once its cook, which takes about 10-15 seconds
you should dip it in Raw egg and begin to enjoy it . Dipping ingredients into the raw
eggs also take away some heat before you sink a bite into it.
Step 4: Lastly, add udon or rice to remaining stock and enjoy the remaining rich flavour
            of the stock.

These steps are showed on all their placemats at the restaurant.
Shoyu and Sukiyaki stock.

Anyways, both of the two teams (Amly and melissa / Tito and me) had the same stock Shoyu and Sukiyaki stock. Since we were there for the meat since its ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT, we all ordered about 5 servings of Beef and lamb, since Melissa wants chicken we order some of those too. Lolz, 5 serving each too much ?? May i remind you that its slinced into paper thins. So that it'll literally cooked in 10-15 seconds..=)...

We literally spent 2-3 hours there enjoying the delectable meats . The moment they're cook an dipped in the raw eggs they are sooo soft, creamy and oh so dreamy~~.. hahaha ... lolz... It was nice spending some time together and catching up  on things since Christmas was a few days later and the New Years ... It was just awesome..!! I am oh so thankful for awesome friends like these . We have known each other since form 1?? lolz. About 13 years ?? how awesome is that !! hahaha .. Anyways, hope we make a lot of new, awesome and unforgettable memories this year !!

Luv you guys ..!!!! Muahss..!!
Till next time and more meetups ..!!
Cheers ..!!
PS: Thanks Amly for the delicious treat and introducing us to it !!!!

Street cafe .. Korean food!!

I guess, nowadays everyone has been bitten my the Korean fever, Lolz, may it be by liking Psy 'Gangnam Style', watching korean drama's, liking K-Pop and like me i started loving everyone korean by the popular show Running Man. Then it revolve to We got married, Invincible Youth, Hello Baby, Idol Army,Family Outing season 1&2 .... Well, the list goes on and on. From these shows i slowly love the artist that they are. Only then i know the names by groups such as, SNSD, Sistar, CnBlue, 2pm, 2am, Super Junior, Bi-Rain, T-Ara, BEG, KARA, F(X) and etc .... then from variety shows then loving the individuals and slowly their songs and group. For a lot of people they are the other way around right ?? Loving the songs and singers then only loving the them even more thru drama.movies and variety shows . But one thing everyone can admit now is the KOREAN FEVER !!! Soon, you see a lot of korean BBQ, kimchi in stores , korean restaurants and although we all love our oldtime MAGGI mee's ... soon everyone refers then to ramyun. Lolz, And we werent exampted from that. The latest place that we all love to get our dose of korean food is The street cafe . They do have a few outlets , however i have only been to the one in Sunway Pyramid and also the one in SS15 , Subang Jaya .

Truthfully , my first time experience with korean food didnt go so well... Hahaha, Hubs (then he was my boyfriend) we went to the Pyramid outlet and i guess we didnt know what to order and ordered the extreme for us first timers. Save to say my husband swear off korean food after that. But recently a friend of my mine WAWA, re-introduce me to korean food the proper way . Hahaha , so after a few times, i now know what i like , hahaha .. These were a few of the things that we ordered .
Raboki- Rice cakes, Ramen in thick sauce .
Kimchi pancake - Korean kimchi made in pancake form. If u love kimchi , You'll love this
If not do order other varieties .
Lolz , i really forgot what this one was called... but its awesome!!!
Korean chicken sticks with their speciality sauce.. Delicious!!
Lolz, I dont know if we were just lucky ... But we were even given a korean noodle
on the house as an appetizer.. This we really love ... much better texture then our local meehoon,
It was a lot for two people .. I even took home the leftovers lolz!!
We basically ordered different things and just shared among us two... Hahaha, we went after our korean language class and was pretty hungry , So we just went crrraazzzyyyy... hahaha ..but at the end of the meal we were full, content and just felt soooo korean.. hahaha .. *dreaming* i know.. lolz.. But i once saw this dessert on my favourite variety show 'We got married-Yongseo couple' ( for people who dont watch the show, its a fake marriage show between Jung Yonghwa 'Cnblue' and Seohyun 'SNSD' ) and the moment i knew they sold this .. I just had to order it and i was definitely not disappointed!!Its korean version of our ice kacang.

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO MY FAVOURITE
KOREAN DESSERT.......
PATBINGSOON!!!!!

Lucky for us when we were there the owner who s originally from Korea was there . For those who wants to have a chance of meeting him should go to the SS15 outlet, he was soo friendly and even took the time to recommend us some dishes. If you're there do say hi to him.. Lolz, I seriously dont know his name .. But if im not mistaken its Mr.Andrew Kim... Lolz... Sorry if its wrong... !! Buzz Korea~!!

 죄송합니다, 용서해주십시오!!
좋은 일을 계속 ..
우리는 음식이 너무 좋아! 싸움!

SAY HI TO MR.KIM YOUNG SEOK!!!

You wanna try what they have to offer ??

Welcoming New year with family and Fish&chips

For the new years eve.. everyone that i know went somewhere to celebrate. Be it with family , friends, or  carnival. All anticipating the beautiful and colourful fireworks. But for me , the best things about this new year is being with hubby, just being together and thankful for everything that we had gone through for the past year of marriage and a total of 8 years of being in a relationship. I am truly ever so thankful that i still have my brother and my husband in my life, literally without them my life would be without meaning.

Safe to say 2012 really test our family ties and patients dealing with people who are just a nuisance in our lives. I have had enough and im happy the way everything is resolved. My brother, hubs and myself finally have a peace in mind and we can finally call our house a HOME. Warmth , light and happiness is slowly filling our home the way when our mother was still with us. May her soul rest in peace ...=). I know she's looking down on us and smiling and hopefully proud with us all, although she may not approve on how we achieve it... lolz...

For the past one year we have cooked, baked and grilled all sorts of delectables.. hahaha .. So, since we had dory fish and prawns in our freezer, we decided to make fish and chips .. Lolz, but to make it healthier minus the chips.. lolz.. I bought some cabbages and we made coleslaw and mixed up a bottle of tartar sauce (mixed store bought with wholegrain mustard seeds. mayo and other things )...

Lolz, because i love buying bargain things , we used all imported crust and tempura batter!!
Alhamdulillah , at least my shopping ability helped us enjoying the best at a fraction of the price.
We munch on the cooked fried prawns ...
 yummeh!!!
Yummy yummy coleslaw....
We even enjoyed some lemonade, jasmine green tea and a bottle of gassy drink.
Since , it was the new year and its been a while since we last meet up with Gary and G-Jar (GG), we invited them for brunch and they also brought the little bundle of joy baby Ariean Indra Putra..!!! He was sooo gorgeous ..!!!! *more on that on our next entry*..=). I just couldnt get enought of him!!!! hahaha ... anyways, after a good hearty brunch we all went out and walk around Subang Parade ..!!

Our delicious brunch for the day..!!!! hahaha Yummeh !!!
Well, thats all for this post  and entry ..=).
Hopefully its not too late...to wish everyone, Happy New Year !!
May everyone be blessed and all their resolutions and dreams come true!!
Cheers !!

Crazies day out..!!! A memory of 2012..=)

These girls are what its me sane and less lonely during my time in Forefront. Although Priya left for better opportunity, we made a pack to go for a day-trip or holiday together hopefully once a year. Lolz, it was easier said than done. But luckily one of the weekend we realize that all of us were free and so was our better half and we just randomly agreed to go for a day-picnic-trip to spend some time at a waterfall Sungai Gabai in Hulu Langat.

I have been here a few times with hubs and my family , however, we NEVER even tried or thought to hike up all teh way to the top to spend some time at the Top most of the waterfall. However, these crazy bunch of people that i love , is fit and wanted to go ALL the way up. Lolz, me being overweight and unfit i took my time reaching the top. I even took about 10min break in the middle of the trail as so i wont faint. Lolz, God knows NOBODY would be able to help me if i do.. hahaha ...

Well, taking things slowly... I finally reach top the top and join the others. The water at the top is much cleaner and colder compared to the one at the bottom part of the waterfall/picnic location. By the time i reach they have already pick a good place to set or things and at a great location for us to keep our eyes on our valuables. Since all of us were already in our bathing clothes, we all jumped in splashed around and just soaking ourself in the refreshing cold cold water.

Us girls ....Luv u gals soo much ..!!!! =)
L-R: Adhwa "Wawa", Parames, Priya and Moi
Missy Long legs ..!!!=).. This Picture make like ur legs look like it goes on forever!!!!
ME Splashing the girls.. Wawa got away in time.. hahaha
Us the mixed breed. hahaha , We roughly can be almost any race  or  nationality u want us to be . Lolz!!
After looking through the photos only then i realize that there was a guy behind us posing for the photo as well.
After splashing about and 'rendam-ing' for 20mins, we were all pretty hungry as most of us didnt have breakfast yet . So , we parked ourselves where our things were and our lunch was shared among all of us . We all brought, juices, roti canai, Ayamas chicken, keropok, snacks, biscuits.. and other refreshments *winks*... Lolz.  After lunch we 'lepak' for a bit then went a bit adventurous and went rock sliding.....
I have never tried this in my whole entire life, but it was scary the first time as im not sure if ill make it through to the end, with a lot of ppl looking i thought i will make a fool outta myself. So, at first i was content with seeing the others trying it out.. It looks fun enough... After a bit of persuading form the my friends, i decided to give it a try ... lolz... It definitely was fun !!!!! So, again and again we go alternating sliding down with the other patrons of the waterfall... hahaha .. Trilling indeed..!!!!
She was the first gal in our group to try it out..!!1 lolz..
Everyone truly enjoyed themselves...!!=)..
The most adventurous one was Raneal, Priya's boyfriend.. hahaha ... HE went to the highest peak and slide down , it was soooo steep and with slightly jagged rocks we gals were worried. Well, boys being boys, they all gave it a try . lolz... Well, they are all grown men... We're just thankful that they werent hurt .. Lolz..=)
Raneal enjoying the cold rush of the waterfall..!!
After all the boys we were giving the steep rock sliding a try , Wawa brought her favourite sport equipment.. Lolz..  A Frisbee Disk, For most of us its also another first time thing to try . So Wawa kinda taught us the basics and pretty soon the disk was flying at random sequence to any one of us . Lolz, for us that haven't played frisbee at all our aim was pretty bad. Resulting the disk flying in to the bushes, over other visitors head and on a few occasions narrowly missing our precious body parts .. hahaha ... ???????? But it was soo interesting!!!
The Frisbee pro among us . With a flip of her wrist it went flying straight to be
person it was intended to reach too.
Para and Anand joking around with each other while the game of frisbee was going on.. Lolz
Para , focusing with all her might.. lolz... Somehow i was always the target.. even if  she was
focusing on someone else.. hahahahah .. Lolz..
After the game of Frisbee .. We took some time to just enjoying the cold mountain water and the green nature that surrounds it. It was serene and relaxing that it took all our stress away. Um, Some more picture opportunities and pretty soon we were packing and ready for the hike down. Lolz, It was soo fun that the time just went by so fast. What felt like 1-2 hours there, was actually about 4-5hours.
ME and the gorgeous leggy Priya ..!! <3 ya!!
Hahahaa , Wawa and Anand 'showering' para with love.. lolz..
After the hike down, we were suppose to go for a Satay Kajang dinner, but since Priya had an important event to plan, we went our separate ways . Hubs and me was thankful to Raneal and Priya for sending us back home. Now, i truly cant wait for our next trip/holiday ... hehehe ...

This is definitely one of my precious memory of all u gals..!!!!
Till next time ..!!!!
Missing u gals..!!! Cant wait for our next hangout.!!
Cheers people... Looking forward for 2013 memories..!!!
