My resolution this year is to see the world, and go to places I've never been too. And thankfully hubby agrees with me too, so this year our calender will be filled with day trips, short getaways, honeymoons and even family day with friends and families. So one of the recent getaway hubby and I had was a picnic day out with my hubby's bestfriend Gary@Helmy and his wife G-Jaar@Azizah.
We gathered ourselves at my house about 11am, and filled our baby myvi BKE7170 with all our picnic things, mat, food and all our belonging for the day out. And pretty soon we were on the road. After driving about 1hour from Subang to Bagan Lalang, Sepang. When we reached there it was about 12pm, and the sun was on our heads. It was definitely a hot day out. We put up our tent, lay down our rattan mat and soon we started our picnic food indulgence...=).
Hubby and i made, egg mayo and i fried sausages. We bought ice and pretty soon we also enjoyed ice cold orange juices and other juices... um.. Blissful!! Gary and hubby also bought Kerang bakar and also whole coconut.. We didn't get to take a picture of the coconut...=)
After having our picnic lunch, we were pretty soon bored and the cards starts coming out. We had a few round of GinRummy, and then Monopoly deal came out to play. The awesome game of Monopoly Deal, had us entertain for hours... lolz.. Until each and every one had a chance to win a round , funny as it was , the game was one of the many highlights during the day ... hahaha ... I enjoyed the game sooo much that even I bought a new deck of my own to keep and play ...=)
After everyone had a chance of winning, and someone had the decency to cheat. hahaha .. With the reason of lupa dah jalan la ... tukar card la.. and many other antic.. lolz... We ended the long hours of card playing to get some fun in the sun, we soak in the ocean, make sand castle.. and when the boys came back to the beach I took a random picture that made them look "Buffed" and james bond-ish shots.. lolz... what do u think ?? hahaha .. lolz...

At about 5pm, we all went to the public toilets, and freshen up. We soon packed and piled all our things up in our babyMyvi and soon we went looking for dinner. After reading quite a few blogs on a very famous and affordable seafood vendor. We went looking for it .. Since most of the roads in and around the area was a one way street, we almost took the wrong exit which would've lead us home, but luckily G-Jar knew the way and pretty soon we were parked right in front of the restaurant and could safely say we were one of the first customers there.

We decide that we will mainly be picking on the seafood and not indulge in rice. We also enjoyed some fruit juices and Gary introduced us to a new way of drinking the other wise normal Limau ice (Lime ice drink). What he did was order the drink and asked the drink maker to sprinkle a dash of salt to it. I thought it was the weirdest thing, but it was just sooo delicious... That we all ordered a round for all four of us ..=)

It was also a beautiful sunset. but since all our hands were dirty with crab shells and all the dishes... we only got this photos that i took with my dirty hands...=).. It was truly a great weekend getaway, i had a blast with Gary and G-jar.. and soon we have many other plans and day trips... stay tuned...!! Btw the total cost for our lavish seafood dinner was about RM180..=).. how cool was that... and we had a lot of seafood... lots and lots of it..!!!=)
